NC State LIVE presents the Grammy award-winning ensemble Chanticleer as they celebrate their 40th Anniversary tour. Chanticleer is known around the world as “an orchestra of voices” for its seamless blend of 12 male voices ranging from soprano to bass and its original interpretations of vocal literature — from Renaissance to jazz and popular genres, as well as contemporary compositions.

For their anniversary season, these masters of choral music — under the direction of William Fred Scott — will perform 51 concerts: 21 in the United States, and 8 in Poland, Germany, France and Spain. Since Chanticleer began releasing recordings in 1981, the group has sold well over a million albums and won two Grammy awards. Chanticleer’s return to NC State is not to be missed.
