Student Giving Challenge
Support your favorite student group — and the Wolfpack community — while rallying support for the Extraordinary Opportunity Scholarship Initiative.
It’s back! Join us Oct. 28–Nov. 1 to support your favorite student organization during the Red and White Week Student Giving Challenge. Groups within two divisions will face off to see who can win the top spots for most gifts given and most dollars raised.
- The Red Division consists of participating groups within the Panhellenic Association and the Interfraternity Council.
- The White Division is made up of participating student organizations that are not part of the Panhellenic Association or the Interfraternity Council.
The top three organizations in each division with the most gifts received and most dollars raised will be awarded spirit points in the Red and White Week Spirit Competition, organized by the Student Alumni Association Ambassadors. Every gift makes a difference! The winners will be announced at the Red and White Week Tuffy Trivia event Nov. 1, so be sure to be there.
Spirit points will be awarded as follows:
- 1st place earns 200 points
- 2nd place earns 160 points
- 3rd place earns 80 points
Featured Fund: Extraordinary Opportunity Scholarship Initiative
The Extraordinary Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (EOSI) upholds NC State’s promise of access for every student admitted to NC State by closing the gap between the cost of higher education and what a student can afford. The EOSI gives first-generation students and students from low- to middle-income families the opportunity to succeed by removing financial barriers. These scholarships empower students – of every family background and economic situation – to earn a college degree, continuing NC State’s commitment to our land-grant mission. Gifts to this area during the RWW Student Challenge will also support Celebrating Transformation.
