Astronaut and NC State alumna Christina Hammock Koch is this year’s Red and White Week speaker.

After earning bachelor’s degrees in physics and electrical engineering, as well as a master’s in electrical engineering, Koch spent two years working as an engineer with NASA before joining the United States Antarctic Program in 2004. She graduated from the astronaut training program in 2015.
