The Khayrallah Center for Lebanese Diaspora Studies within the NC State College of Humanities and Social Sciences welcomes U.S. Rep. Donna Shalala, D-Fla., to NC State, where she will deliver a public talk on Higher Education in Today’s America. Shalala, who is of Lebanese descent, served as the U.S. secretary of health and human services under President Bill Clinton. She was president of the University of Miami in Coral Gables from 2001-2015.
